Release of tax bills:                 mid-November, 2009
                                             (sent to homeowners/not mortgage co)
Due date:                                December 31, 2009
Interest begins:                       January 1, 2010
Delinquent notices sent:          March 1, 2010
2009 Tax Sale:                       May 7, 2010 (tentative date)
Redemption:                           Within 3 years from the filing of
the tax sale certificate.
 

Payment Information:

            Homeowners:

Acceptable forms of payment: check, money order, and if paying in person, cash. 

Please put the parcel number on your check and return in the envelope provided along with the bottom portion of the tax statement.  You are responsible for forwarding the tax bill to your mortgage company if your taxes are in escrow.

            Mortgage Companies:

We will accept one check per parcel. (Parish and City of Vidalia in one check if applicable).

We will accept memo bill with payment.

Duplicate bills will be provided if needed for $1 per tax bill.

Refunds will be made to the person/company that sent the check.
